Fairfield is a beautiful township located located less than 20 miles from New York City. It has a poulation of population just over 7,000 residents. Fairfield also has an airport located within the offering private and chartered jet service to many national and international destinations. Residents enjoy the ease of communting to New York City via New Jersey Transit. There are many major roadways located in and around Fairfield including Route 80, Route 46 and Route 23.

There are many shopping and dining options in and around Fairfield. One can find many Italian restaurants, diners, pizza parlors, bakeries and coffee shops. Many residents frequent the nearby Willowbrook Mall, one of New Jersey’s largest indoor shopping centers, located just a few miles away in neighboring Wayne.

There are three golf courses located within a short drive from anywhere in Fairfield. Meadows Golf Club, Mountain Ridge Country Club, and Green Brook Country Club all offer challenging courses for golfers of all ability levels.

Fairfield has a strong school system with students in kindergarten though sixth grade attending schools in Fairfield Township. Those in grades seven through twelve attend schools as part of the West Essex Regional School District. The district serves students from Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell, and Roseland. There is a junior High School for students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades. Those in grades ten through twelve attend West Essex High School in North Caldwell.
